JUST PRAISE HIM

Exalting Him…

psalm 3

“…I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in the LORD; let the oppressed hear and rejoice. Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together” -Psalm 34:1-3BSB

*

You, O GOD, are the Lord of all Creation.

You are worthy of all glory, of all honor, and of all praise.

You are my Redeemer, my Deliverer, and Friend.

You are my God, and there is no one else like You.

You alone are the Rock Upon Which I Can Stand.

You are the Sure Foundation,

and You are my Savior.

*

May Your name, O GOD, be magnified in all the Earth.

May Your children proclaim Your goodness

and testify of Your enduring faithfulness.

*

LORD, I can look to no other,

for You are the One Who Set Me free

through Your redemptive blood

that You shed at Calvary.

*

Thank You for giving me life

that I might live for You,

to commune with You,

to worship You.

*

May I bring glory to You for You are great

and greatly to be praised.

I exalt You, O LORD, for You are

the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

Above You, there is no other.

You are the Alpha and the Omega,

the Beginning and the End

the First and the Last.

*

You are my Strong Refuge,

my Strength,

my Hope,

my Joy.

*

My spirit rejoices in You,

GOD MY SAVIOR,

and my soul delights in You Who Calls Me By Name,

The One who is my Portion forever,

The Faithful and True GOD.

*

I praise You, O LORD,

for You are the Shield around me,

and You are my glory;

You are the Lifter of my Head.

*

Let me always sing of Your lovingkindness,

of Your compassion, mercy, and truth.

To God be all the glory!

*

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

Call To Holiness

HOLY 1
*
The Children of the Most High God are called to a life of holiness.  We are to practice holiness by walking in the ways of God and obeying His laws.
*
Holiness is a daily practice, hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second. We are set apart from the world. Our values, morals, and ethics are to be aligned with what God says in His Word.
*

It doesn’t matter what the world thinks. It doesn’t matter what the world says. Daily we are to pick up our cross, dying to self, and following Him. We are told in the Scriptures, in Galatians 2:20, “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” We are no longer our own. We belong to Him. If we claim the name of Christ, then we must be walking in His ways, living by His teaching.

*

Our confession of faith is nothing WITHOUT applying His Word to every aspect of our lives. Saying we love God is nothing WITHOUT obeying what God commands.  If you love the Lord, then you will obey Him.  In other words, let’s live what we preach. Live out what you read and study in His Word. Ask Him how to apply His Word, His teachings to your life. Trust in Him. Believe on Him. Serve Him with wholehearted obedience because “obedience is better than sacrifice.”

*

Children of the Most High God, remember this the world will hate you because the world hated Christ first, and “…you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light,” (1 Peter 2:9).

*

PRAYER Heavenly Father, life is all about You because You, O God, are the Giver of Life, and You, O God, are holy, and Your law is perfect. Your Ways are pure and just, and You require wholehearted obedience and devotion.  Teach me how to be holy as You are holy.  Help me to continue along the narrow road so that I might glorify You.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Acknowledge God

god-focus

“Acknowledge that the Lord is good!  He made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.”

-Psalm 100:3

As children of God, we’re to acknowledge God in all we do. When we praise Him and speak of His goodness and His glory, we’re focusing on and acknowledging the One Who Created us and the One Who has ordered our steps.  When we obey God, we acknowledge He is Lord over all, seeking only His approval, not man’s approval. When we worship and bow before Him, we’re acknowledging Him as King.  No one compares to Him, and there is no other God but Him. When we daily submit and present ourselves as a living sacrifice to God, we’re acknowledging His sovereignty in our lives.

Let’s remember to keep our focus on Him, recognizing He is God and in control.  He is the Rock, and He is bigger than any problem or circumstance.  Never forget His goodness, and always count the blessings He has given you.

Be blessed, and have a great day, Everyone!
